Built to make ideas visual — fast
The problem I was solving
I kept running into the same situation: I had a PDF, a set of notes, or a long-form document that I needed to share with someone — but nobody was going to read a 15-page document. I needed a visual summary, but creating one in Canva or Figma takes 30–60 minutes of layout work even if you know what you're doing.
I wanted something that would take a document and turn it into a clean, shareable visual in under 30 seconds. When I couldn't find a tool that did exactly this, I built one.

Who built this
I'm Salvatore Castellitti, an indie developer based in Italy. I build tools at the intersection of AI and productivity under the name Caste.dev.
VisualNote AI is my main product. I use it myself every week. If you have feedback, questions, or a feature request, email me directly at s.castellitti.dev@gmail.com — I read everything.
How it's built
The web app is built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel. AI generation is powered by Google Gemini. Authentication and data storage run on Supabase. Payments are handled by Stripe. The iOS app is available on the Apple App Store.
Your uploaded documents are processed securely through serverless endpoints and are not stored permanently. See the Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
