What is VisualNote AI?
VisualNote AI is an AI-powered tool that converts PDFs, text, and notes into visual infographics and sketchnotes. Upload a document or paste text, pick a visual style, and get a shareable image in under 30 seconds — no design skills required.
How does VisualNote AI work?
VisualNote AI sends your text or document to Google Gemini AI, which reads and understands the content. The AI then generates a visual layout — a structured infographic or sketchnote — based on the style you selected. The entire process takes under 30 seconds.
What file types can I upload?
You can upload PDF files (.pdf), Word documents (.doc, .docx), and plain text files (.txt). Files up to 10MB are supported on the Plus plan.
What visual styles are available?
VisualNote AI offers 7 styles: Classic (clean infographic), Blueprint (technical diagram style), Comic (hand-drawn look), Kanban (board layout), Timeline (chronological view), Terminal (dark code-editor aesthetic), and Viral Visual (optimised for social sharing).
What is Viral Visual mode?
Viral Visual is a special mode designed to turn social media posts, tweets, LinkedIn content, or short text into highly engaging visual graphics that boost shares and engagement. Free users get 1 Viral Visual per month; Plus users get 25.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 2 text-to-visual generations and 1 Viral Visual generation. No credit card is required to get started.
What does the Plus plan include?
Plus costs $10.99/month and includes 70 text-to-visual generations, 20 PDF-to-visual generations, and 25 Viral Visual generations per month. You also get all styles, aspect ratios, and quality levels.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your Plus subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to Plus features until the end of your current billing period.
What aspect ratios are supported?
VisualNote AI supports multiple aspect ratios including square (1:1), portrait (9:16 for mobile), and landscape (16:9 for presentations). Aspect ratio options are available on the Plus plan.
What AI model powers VisualNote AI?
VisualNote AI uses Google Gemini, one of the most capable multimodal AI models available. Gemini is used for both content understanding and visual generation.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes! VisualNote AI: Text to Art is available on the Apple App Store. You can download it at apps.apple.com/us/app/visualnote-ai-text-to-art/id6756392430. The iOS app supports text-to-visual and Viral Visual generation.
Is my uploaded data private?
Your uploaded documents are processed securely through serverless endpoints and are not stored permanently on VisualNote AI servers. Documents are sent to Google Gemini AI for processing. See the Privacy Policy at visualnoteai.space/privacy for full details.
What languages are supported?
VisualNote AI can process documents and text in any language that Google Gemini supports, which includes most major world languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and many more).
What download formats are available?
Generated visuals can be downloaded as high-resolution PNG images. The images are optimised for both digital sharing and print.
How long does it take to generate a visual?
Most generations complete in under 30 seconds. PDF processing may take slightly longer depending on the file size and content density.
Do I need any design skills to use VisualNote AI?
No. VisualNote AI is designed for anyone — students, professionals, marketers — who needs a visual summary fast. The AI handles all layout and design decisions automatically.
Can I use VisualNote AI for commercial projects?
Yes. Visuals generated with VisualNote AI on any plan can be used in commercial projects, presentations, social media, and marketing materials.
How is VisualNote AI different from Canva or Piktochart?
Canva and Piktochart require you to manually design your infographic. VisualNote AI automates the entire process — you provide text or a PDF and the AI generates a complete visual in seconds. No templates to edit, no drag-and-drop required.
Can I upload a PDF and get a visual summary?
Yes. PDF-to-visual is available on the Plus plan. Upload any PDF (up to 10MB), and VisualNote AI will extract the key content and generate a visual summary automatically.

Is there a quality setting for generated images?
Yes. Plus users can select different quality levels for their generated images, allowing for higher-resolution outputs suitable for print and large-format displays.
What happens if I run out of generations?
If you exhaust your monthly generations, you can upgrade to the Plus plan or wait until your generation count resets at the start of the next billing cycle.
